America is at a crossroads. We are politically, culturally, and religiously polarized as a people. Our rights are being challenged. Our liberties are being stripped. Cancel culture is rampant. And at the center of it all is a multi-pronged attack on our freedoms.
Mainstream media is siding with authoritarians as their favored Democratic Party pushes further to the left. Progressives of yesterday are practically conservative compared to what the radical left is promoting today. Conservative media does a decent job of pushing back, but infighting is prevalent and the various right-leaning media outlets are often too competitive with one another. As conservatives, our very nature of individualism means some of the strongest champions of conservative values battle each other as much as they battle the left. But progressive media, driven by their goal of collectivism, seems to work together much better.
When Jeff Dornik and JD Rucker decided to put together a venue through which patriots could work together to fight the leftist narrative, they knew there were two arenas that were under-served in media: Podcasts and videos. The written word, while always important, is driven by eyeballs and those eyeballs are mostly controlled by Big Tech companies like Google, Facebook, and Twitter. Digital print journalism has enough conservative sites out there, but the gatekeepers in Big Tech often keep these sites down.
Podcasting and video podcasting are different. Granted, YouTube is owned by Google and therefore leans far to the left, but it is still easier to break through with videos than with anything else other than podcasts. In today’s podcasting world, much like talk radio, conservatives have as close to equal footing as possible. Both types of content distribution are growing, so the founders of Freedom First Network decided those were the hills we needed to defend.
We are bringing together fresh patriotic and conservative voices to unveil to America. That’s the purpose of Freedom First Network: Taking a freedom-loving message to the masses where holes need to be filled. We don’t have Tucker Carlson or Rush Limbaugh, but we may have the next Tucker or Rush within our midst. This is why we strongly encourage our website visitors to subscribe to all of our creators’ podcasts as well as our Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter accounts. We’ll supply the talent. You just have to sit back, listen, and help spread the word.
