Olympic and professional athlete trainer Sheila Thelen is President of Vestibular Training Services and sat down with the Bill McIntosh Show to talk the Beijing Olympics and her spin training designed to help not only olympic athletes maintain balance and situational awareness during competition but also can assist members of the US Armed Forces who have suffered brain injuries; ex NFL players injured from concussions playing football, autistic children and even senior citizens with issues impacting their independence after sustaining a broken bone. Her insights are both amazing and practical.
The 2022 Beijing Olympics have been a nightmare for several dozen athletes who have tested positive with Covid 19 and who have had to endure Chinese lockdown hell with lousy food, isolation and thuggish host behavior.
Add to this the dystopian sights of the Big Air slope for the Beijing Winter Olympics cozily placed next to huge cooling towers in Beijing’s Shougang Industrial Park. Some have quipped that the spot looks taken from the Simpsons cartoon town of Springfield! Almost as cartoonish is that the Chinese are using 100% fake snow in a spot that seldom gets snowfall at all. To be fair to the Chinese Communist Party they did have some nice snowfall recently but this is an exception.
According to the Communist Chinese friendly, America last paper The Washington Post which, like a broken clock in your house, is right twice a day, less than 3% of Beijing’s annual average precipitation whitens their picturesque industrial landscape between December and February. Sources have yet to confirm if athletes find the combination of hundreds of snow making machines churning out gazillions of phony snow flakes per hour and the picturesque factory scenery near the Big Air slope have made Beijing a shoe in choice for future winter olympic games.
There’s also been some decidedly unpleasant disqualifications and allegedly biased and heavy handedness among judges that favors China. Witness the recent controversies in short track speed skating in which the Russians and Americans beat China only to later see their results disqualified after video review to benefit team China that took the gold.
The accommodations for competing athletes have not been stellar either. Recent photos of water flooding into a room from a ceiling above has shocked many but the CCP wants people to know that the Chinese have a sense of humor-the water, they have claimed is not only free but enables you to shower without having to disrobe. How cool is that?
When the CCP isn’t playing practical jokes it is eager to help out with the expenses of olympic training for American athletes of Chinese descent. Just think NBA recruiters flying to another country and brandishing huge sums of money to renounce their citizenship to play with Lebron.
This, of course brings to mind perhaps the first trans chameleon gold medalist from California-Eileen Gu who has been giddy concerning how she can change nationalities like a lizard can change colors. Miss Gu, quoted in Time.com with a dopiness that suggests that she has been trained by Alexandria Ocasio’s political consultants, alluded to this unique ability stating: “When I’m in China I’m Chinese, when I’m in the US, I’m American.” She should be contacted by the Pentagon, post haste, to teach special forces how to blend in to different nations during war time and not get caught!
Jokes aside (but not for long, I know these articles can be boring), Sheila Thelen called out the conniving communist olympic sharks who fly to America and brazenly seek out all too willing victims:
“Well, the hard part is, and of course, I’m taking it from a figure skating point of view, because of course, that’s my industry. But we’ve had kids solicited by Chinese federations skating programs at our US Nationals where they basically went through and figured out who the kids were that had Chinese American heritage, and made offers that the US Federation just couldn’t make like free training and ice time and equipment. And those are things that cost me the equipment alone is $1,500 for a pair of boots and blades, and the kids need probably two sets through the season, especially if they’re growing. So I mean, for the families to eat just $3,000 a year just in equipment, that’s not lessons or ice time. A lot of families and figure skating are paying between 50, 60, $70,000 a year. So when offers come in from other countries to represent them and pick up the tab. It’s really hard on families and children and and we’re also talking about 12 and 14 year old kids that really what say do they have in it when their parents are really in charge. So and this chance to save 70 grand a year and represent your old country. You know, like choices are made that really aren’t the kids’ choices, but suddenly they’re representing another country”
We can only hope that the two ex American traitors, athletes Eileen Gu and Zhu Yi who embraced the Communist Chinese banner don’t incur the wrath of their communist overlords and don’t get “disappeared” when some corrupt communist Chinese official sexaully harrasses them and then become angry enough to denounce him. Both are now citizens of a country that forbids dual citizenship-China and also is a place where human rights and defending the weak are scoffed at.
There is one positive to take note of, however-China bans dual nationality The US should imitate China and also outlaw dual nationality and strip these two back stabbing princesses of their US passports that should be seized upon arrival in California. Moreover they should be denied US visas.
Athletes need to realize that there is a steep price to be paid for walking on the American flag. Hopefully they won’t be cast aside like old shoes after the Chinese grow tired of their American sense of entitlement, human dignity and fairness.
We are reaping the rotten fruits of our subversive teachers and college professors. Can we be far off the mark to think that the Chinese Communist Party is promoting the collapse of American patriotism through the foolish embrace of multiculturalism and highly unpatriotic values taught in our schools?
