Gavin Newsom is an awful governor. He’s so progressive, that he makes Jerry Brown (California’s previous lefty Governor) seem like a Tea Party Conservative. Newsom was bad enough, but then COVID-19 hit and it prodded him to become as an extreme of an authoritarian that we may have ever seen from a Governor.
He overstepped his authority, stripping Californians from our Constitutional Rights that are protected by the United States Constitution. He’s shut down churches, banned conservatives from protesting and even taking away our ability to work, unless of course we have an approved job. He is behaving in an unconstitutional way, and has no right to do this. Remember, the Constitution does not have an exception clause. The government is banned from restricting religion, peaceably assembling and even private property rights. There is no better way to describe Governor Newsom’s unconstitutional edicts than to call them what they are: illegal.
Since there’s no checks and balances in California due to the extreme representation of Democrats, the only recourse is for the people of California to recall Gavin Newsom and elect someone who will honor our Constitutional Rights. The Progressive Left has been activated to extremists by Black Lives Matter and Antifa. They are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their mission of destroying America and rebuilding it in their image.
We need that same level of commitment. Obviously, while the Left is willing to be violent, we cannot go down that route. With that said, we have to be willing to take action ourselves to take back our country. Participating in the recall of Gavin Newsom is a simple action that we can take to bring freedom and liberty to the great state of California.
