The onerous anti-gun regulations in so called “progressive” states and the encroachments that the Federal government seeks to impose upon the free exercise of the 2nd amendment of our Bill of Rights will now stand in stark contrast to Texas where freedom loving Americans will look to as a guide for liberty.
Stephen Willeford embodies the Texan spirit of devotion to faith, family and having guns as a God given right and became famous when he intervened to stop a deadly massacre in Sutherland Springs, Texas on November 5th, 2017. He articulated that bold Texan outlook and when he stated: “Anything that infringes on the Second Amendment in the future we won’t recognize”.
Willeford was referring to new laws signed into effect by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott last Thursday, June 17th. According to Willeford, interviewed by the NOQ Report, it’s very simple, as it should be:
“…it’s constitutional carry…constitutional carry basically it says you don’t need a permit to carry concealed or in the open….you’ll be able to carry it in the state of Texas…that’s the way our founding fathers envisioned all of this”
The adage goes that when seconds count the police are just minutes away
means that the Second Amendment is an essential nationwide safeguard for a free people from the actions of criminals who would do harm to you or your loved ones and friends.
Willeford lived through the nightmare of standing up against a crazed mass murderer who had entered the Sutherland Springs, TX First Baptist Church. It was Willeford’s AR 15 that he grabbed to stop the shooter. The Second Amendment must be protected yet the AR15 has been deemed the enemy by 2nd Amendment foes. Concerning one of the AR15’s most strident enemies, ATF Director nominee David Chipman, Willeford minced no words.:
“Oh, he’s a disaster. He’s an anti-gunner. He believes that “assault weapons” should be banned and when questioned by Lindsay Graham, he couldn’t even define what an assault weapon was”.
The term “assault rifle” was a term, by some accounts, coined by Adolf Hitler himself in reference to a rapid fire (500 rounds per minute) Nazi rifle developed for World War II called the Sturmgewehr or shortened to Stg 44. The difference between that Nazi battlefield rifle and a Bushmaster, AR15 for home defense and hunting designed for approximately 45 rounds per minute is monumental.
On Shipman Stephen Willeford takes no prisoners: “He has no clue what an assault weapon is.
Since its all about creating a climate of fear and antipathy to foirearms like the AR15, even the term “assault rifle” is no longer enough to scare Americans. “The media has now decided that “assault weapons” is not evil enough sounding. So listen to them. Words matter….Their next new catch phrase is ‘we have no need for these weapons of war on our street’. “HOW RIDICULOUS!The AR15 was designed as a modern sporting rifle back in the 50’s. When the military wanted a small caliber rifle they contracted Stoner AR. AR stands for ARMALITE RIFLE …the media likes to say the AR15 is a assault weapon or a weapon of war …it is not. An AR15 has never been involved in a war”.
The AR15 is also a game hunting rifle today. Texas and many other states have serious feral hog infestation problems and sportsmen like Willeford use the AR15. Concerning feral hogs Willeford stated to NOQ NEWS:
“This country has been overrun with feral hogs right now….the feral hog problem is horrible. People don’t get that a sow can have four litters of piglets a year and each litter of piglets can be anywhere 14 to 16 piglets in each litter…they just destroy everything…they move in packs of a hundred plus pigs.” Willeford has no qualms about setting up a great impromptu barbecue to take advantage of a feral hog that comes his way.
With the possibility of criminals hacking into our meat supply and food shortages becoming a deadly possibility, the AR15 is a lifesaving weapon in more ways than one and David Shipman is a 100% wrong for the ATF.
YouTube, Spotify, and other Big Tech platforms are taking Freedom First Network down
It’s no secret we speak our minds and bring on guests who do the same. That’s one of the biggest reasons we put together the Freedom First Network in the first place. There are far too many news outlets, including so-called “conservative” media companies, who are so beholden to Big Tech that they temper their perspectives at best and outright coverup the truth at worst. Many, as you all know, will blatantly lie in order to maintain the narrative that supports the radical agenda taking over much of the United States.
We have had our YouTube channel taken down. Many of our shows have been suppressed or removed by Facebook and Twitter. Spotify banned one of our shows completely from their platform. Google hates us. We’ve even been censored by some of the smaller players like Medium, Transistor, and Captivate. But we stand behind our reporting and perspectives and we refuse to bow down to Big Tech tyranny for the sake of pageviews or video plays.
This isn’t the easiest road to travel, especially for a media company that is so new. We launched Freedom First Network in 2020 to fight against the very censorship that we’re seeing so widespread today. We have found great homes for our content on freer speech platforms like Rumble and we’re putting our best efforts forward into building our presence on Locals. Nevertheless, we cannot do it alone. We need help.
One of the things cofounders Jeff Dornik and JD Rucker agreed to from the start was to never be the pawns of companies that do not embrace our worldview. Finding advertisers and affiliates is easy; we receive requests by companies wanting to be pushed on our shows every day. But it’s important to us that we’re promoting companies, services, and products that are beneficial to maintaining a Freedom First stance in America. As a result, we do not take on sponsors easily. We would rather rely on our own products like Freedom First Coffee and the support of our wonderful viewers, listeners, and readers.
Those who want to support us and help keep the fight for America’s future moving forward can do so by donating through our Locals page. There, you can donate monthly or one-time. Some have told us to use Patreon or GoFundMe, but both of those platforms have demonstrated a hatred for free speech. Locals does not. They embrace it. We encourage everyone to join us on Locals, but donations are greatly appreciated as well. We do not have day jobs. Our fight for freedom is a full-time gig.
Please feel free to reach out to us through our contact form. It goes directly to our founders, so if you’re interested in getting involved, investing, sponsoring, or even bringing a show to our network, let us know. May God Bless the United States of America!
