Today, The Two Mikes had the pleasure of interviewing Aaron Renn, a leading analyst on urban affairs in the United States.
Aaron Renn gave us a detailed look at the massive amounts of money that Biden is sending to blue cities in the United States. Chicago, for example, just received $1.1 billion dollars, while the city of Indianapolis received $400 million in what Mr. Renn called “Biden Bucks”.
This money is going overwhelmingly to blue cities and, Mr. Renn noted, the Republicans who helped pass the bill making the money available made no effort to ensure that blue and red cities were treated equally. For example, four cities of about 100,000 people in Indiana — two blue and two red — received Biden Bucks, but each of the blue cites received 7.5-times the amount of federal money received by the two red cities.
Overall, Mr. Renn said that the Republicans are abetting the scandalous printing and spending of money are doing nothing to either halt the Democrats’ disastrous extravagance or at least ensure Republican cities are treated equally by the distributors of the swag.
He concluded the program by noting that the murder rates now are increasing — percentage wise — in many red cities just as they are in blue cities.
