Today, The Two Mikes hosted West Virginia State Treasurer Riley Moore and discussed the action against “woke capitalism” that he and 16 other state treasurers are taking to stop the big banks from discriminating against companies in the energy industry.
Apparently as part of the Biden/Democrat climate hoax, several of the largest banks want oil, gas, and coal companies to jump though the new woke hurdles.
Mr. Moore and the team of Patriotic state treasurers he leads have written to the big banks to inform them of their opposition to these discriminatory practices and their intention to force them to end.
Mr. Moore and the other state treasurers are responsible for handling a total of $600 million in state monies and intend to withdraw those funds from banks that are woke capitalists unless the banks certify that they will end what would be a disastrous requirement.
If the banks refuse, the state treasurers will withdraw their funds and deposit them in banks that have not been infected with “wokeness” and the disasters it inevitably brings to businesses and citizens alike.
This group of state treasurers is, in essence, trying to wake up the woke banks to the fact that they can kiss goodbye to $600 billion in deposits if they continue their discriminatory and authoritarian practices to the detriment of Americans and their businesses.
In the spirit of a long list of “Mountaineers lead” Mr. Moore is clearly a determined young man that will let banks know this is not an pro American agenda.
