Today, The Two Mikes again interviewed Ed Haugland, a long-time senior officer in the U.S. Intelligence Community who now writes at https://theinformationequilibrium.blogspot.com.
Mr. Haugland argued that time is running short for the survival of the republic unless widespread resistance to the China/Democrats ongoing insurrection is developed rapidly.
He said that America, today, seems to be divided into four groups: the compliant, the complicit, the complacent, and the corrupt.
In essence, those categories line up as four against patriots.
The latter have long seen the unfolding rise of communist tyranny in America and have peacefully resisted it at the voting booth, in the public prints, in public statements and speeches, and in their writings, but without decisive impact so far.
The patriots must now push even harder to oppose the Biden administration and their allies — foreign and domestic — and try to inspire the complacent to join their efforts.
It is probably too late to convert the government-trusting-and-loving compliant, but that group should continue to be urged to wake-up before the enemies of the republic take over.
Mr. Haugland said that the 2022 mid-terms and the 2024 presidential elections may be the republic’s last chance to survive, but, being always the hard-eyed realist, he has written that even those two dates could be beyond the republic’s expiration date.
